The
SenioRx Prescription Assistance Program of
Interfaith Ministries Was Presented A Certificate Of Appreciation From
Governor Bob Riley, August 20, 2004 for Assisting Alabama Residents
in Saving Over $60,000,000 in Prescription Drug Costs. At that time,
savings to Calhoun County Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities
have totaled over $8,000,000. Since the inception
of the program in October, 2002 - April, 2008, savings have totalled $16.312.075.00.
PURPOSE:
To
assist senior citizens or individuals with disabilities in applying for
free drug assistance programs provided by pharmaceutical companies

ELIGIBILITY
REQUIREMENTS:

Legal
Resident of Calhoun County, AL
-
55
years of age or older or disabled with a Chronic
medical condition.
-
No
prescription drug coverage.
-
Under
the care of a physician.
-
Annual
household income less than $20,420 for one person; $27,380 for two person
family.

a program application. SenioRx staff completes all forms required
by the Pharmaceutical companies for a 3 month supply of medication.
Refills are available, with ample notice to the SenioRx staff. Allow
4 - 6 weeks to receive the initial supply of medications.
Almost
12 million dollars in free prescription drugs have been made available
through this program.
